Funeral services for Dorothy Jean Fink, age 80 years, a Owasso resident, formerly of Atoka, were held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, February 15, 2021, at the Dighton Moore Funeral Service, in Owasso. Services were live streamed for family and friends that were unable to attend the service.
Interment was in Green Meadows Cemetery, at Atoka.
Fink passed away on Monday, February 8, 2021, in Owasso. At the time of her death, she was a resident of Oxford Glen Assisted Living.
She was born on April 29, 1940, to Leonard Ervin and Florence Loretta (Butler) Sheffield, at Lane.
Fink attended Lane and Atoka schools, graduating with the class of 1958.
She married Earl Wayne Fink, on January 11, 1958, in Durant. They recently celebrated 63 years of marriage. They had two children, Lisa Jeanette and Mark Wayne Fink.
They lived in many places in Oklahoma and New Mexico, before making their home in Tulsa and then later Owasso, where she worked as a school nurse and substitute teacher for Tulsa Public Schools.
Fink enjoyed being active, making new friends, and prided herself on being an excellent homemaker. She and her husband had retired to their cattle ranch, in Pawhuska.
Survivors include her husband, Earl Fink of Owasso; son, Mark Fink of Owasso; grandchildren, Erika McDaniel and Brett McDaniel; three great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara Broome; brothers, Doyle Sheffield, Forrest Sheffield, Jack Sheffield and Larry Sheffield; and many beloved nieces and nephews and friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Leonard and Florence (Butler) Sheffield; daughter, Lisa (Fink) (McDaniel) Moser; siblings, Lennis Fredrick, Leonard Sheffield, Jr., Raymond Sheffield, Clyde Sheffield and Curtis Sheffield.
A viewing was held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., on Sunday, February 14, 2021, at Dighton Moore Funeral Service, in Owasso.
