Graveside services for Edna Mae (Marlow) King, age 81, a longtime Atoka resident, were held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 11, 2021, at New Zion Cemetery, in Atoka, with Woodrow King officiating.
Interment was in New Zion Cemetery, at Atoka.
Services were under the direction of Brown’s Funeral Service, in Atoka.
King passed away on Friday, January 8, 2021, in Durant.
She was born on Saturday, August 26, 1939, to Floyd and Mary (Pyle) Marlow.
King graduated from Atoka High School, in 1956.
She married Don Henry King, on Saturday, June 6, 1959. They celebrated 61 years of marriage before her passing.
King was a housewife.
She was a member of the Lane Baptist Church. King loved to fish and take care of her dog. She also enjoyed collecting cookbooks and using them, and garage selling.
Survivors include her husband, Don King of Atoka; sons, Woodrow King and wife, Kerri, of Atoka; Randy King and wife, Kelly, of Atoka; granddaughters, Jessica King of Durant; Ambri Fuller and husband, Tyler, of Moyers; grandsons, Landon King and wife, Payton, of Rattan; Baily King of Stringtown; great-grandchildren, Maddox Henry, Brealee Fuller, Tamara Fuller, Piper King and Deliliah Ashbee; brothers, Wayne Marlow of Caney and Coy Marlow of Atoka.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Floyd Marlow and Mary (Pyle) Settlemire; infant daughter, Micky King; and sister-in-law, Jackie Marlow.
Pallbearers were Landon King, Baily King, Jimmy Smith, Greg Smith, Derek Marlow and Tyler Fuller.
