Funeral services for Geraldine Mae Caldwell, age 96, a Caddo resident, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 24, 2021, at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel, in Atoka, with Brother Kimmie Redden officiating.
Interment will be in Mount Home Cemetery, at Daisy.
Services are under the direction of Brown’s Funeral Service, in Atoka.
Caldwell passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2021, at Denison, Texas.
She was born on Wednesday, September 3, 1924, to Charles Estes and Arabella (McKinze) Addington, at Kezzie Mills, Missouri.
Caldwell graduated from Stringtown High School as Valedictorian and also attended business school.
She was a engineer for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for 40 years.
Caldwell was of the Baptist faith. She liked to work outside in her garden, spend time with her family and she took great joy in helping people in any way she could.
Survivors include her daughter, Sheri Drinning of Bells, Texas; grandson, Brad Drinning of Caddo; nephews, Danny Addington of Sardis and Kenneth Addington of Kenefic; niece, Cathy (Addington) Boles of Kenefic; sister-in-law, Edith Addington of Kenefic; great-granddaughter, Ashlyn Dill; along with many dear and loved friends.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Charles and Arabella (McKinze) Addington; ex-husband, Richard Fred Caldwell; and her brother, Charles Estes Addington, Jr.
Pallbearers are Rusty Boles, Justin Boles, Jonathain Addington, Kenneth Addington, Danny Addington, Brad Drinning, Greg Stiles and Andrew Bryant.
Family night was held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., on Tuesday, February 23, 2021, at Brown’s Funeral Service, in Atoka.
