Graveside services for Gunner Dale Ray Bryant, a Lane resident, age 6 days, were held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 30, 2021, at the Farris Cemetery, in Farris, with the Reverend Ed Miller officiating.
Interment was in Farris Cemetery, at Farris.
Services were under the direction of Brown’s Funeral Service, in Atoka.
Bryant gained his wings on Tuesday, January 26, 2021, at Tulsa.
He was born on January 20, 2021, to Dusty Lee Bryant and Jessica (Johnson) Abbott, at Tulsa.
Survivors include his mother, Jessica (Johnson) Abbott of the home in Lane; father, Dusty Bryant of Broken Arrow; brother, Gannon Abbott of Lane; sister, Kinsley Abbott of Lane; maternal grandparents, Michael Johnson of Antlers and Celina McClendon of Atoka; maternal great-grandparent, Linda McLemore of Antlers; paternal grandparents, Ray and Vanessa Bryant of Broken Arrow; paternal great-grandparents, Peggy Maxey of Norman and Gail Bryant of Atoka; paternal great-great-grandparents, Virginia Bryant Spears of Atoka and “Nana” Linda Maxey of Wapanucka; aunts, Randa McClendon of Mt. Home, Arkansas; Ashlynn Bayles and husband, Charles, of Durant; and Michaela Johnson of Antlers; uncle, Chey Bryant of Broken Arrow; cousins, Waylen Bayles and Staley Bayles, both of Durant; along with other relatives.
Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Clair and Dortha Bersuch; Randall and Jessie McClendon; Eldon “Judge” Maxey and Andrew Ray Bryant; and uncle, Eldon Leon Maxey, Jr.
Family night was held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., on Friday, January 29, 2021, at Brown’s Funeral Service, in Atoka.
