Memorial services for Stanley Douglas Ham, age 68 years, 5 months and 21 days, a lifelong Farris resident, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel, in Atoka, with Brother David Woods officiating.
Services are under the direction of Brown’s Funeral Service, in Atoka.
Ham passed away on Friday, January 8, 2021, at Antlers.
He was born on Friday, July 18, 1952, to Billy Otto and Lorena Gale (Butler) Rector, at Antlers.
Ham graduated from Atoka High School, in the Class of 1970.
He married Bonnie May (Myers) on Saturday, June 15, 2002, at San Antonio, Texas. They celebrated 18 years of marriage before his passing.
Ham was a carpenter and owned a pool maintenance business.
He was a member of the Farris Baptist Church. Ham enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, playing pool, pestering family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie May Ham of the home, in Farris; father, Billy Otto Rector of Farris; children, Leslie Ham and wife, Mary, of San Antonio, Texas; Douglas Ham and wife, Jessica, of San Antonio, Texas; Ronald Ham of San Antonio, Texas; Krista Heslin of Orlando, Florida; 11 grandchildren; step-children, Shon Ginnis and wife, Sherry, of Jay; Shanna Ginnis of Davis; seven step-grandchildren; five step great-grandchildren; siblings, Jimmie Ham and wife, Cindy, of Atoka; John Rector of Farris; Brenda Wilson and husband, Bobby, of Farris; along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.
Preceding him in death were his mother, Lorena Gale (Butler) Rector.
Honorary pallbearers are Wendell Wood, David Hill, Terry Hardin and Larry “Bub” Smith.
