Private interment services for Vivian Michelle Johnson, age 50, a Durant resident, were held on Tuesday, January 5, 2021, at Green Meadows Cemetery, at Atoka.
Memorial services will be scheduled at a later date at the Harmony Baptist Church, in Atoka Brother Jay Willoughby will be officiating.
Services were under the direction of Brown’s Funeral Service, in Atoka.
Johnson passed away on Friday, January 1, 2021, in Denison, Texas.
She was born on Saturday, February 14, 1970, to James and Christine Mae (Tingle) Smith, at Fairfield, California.
Johnson graduated from Ygnacio Valley High School and later attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University.
She was a customer service representative for Alorica, in Durant.
Johnson was affiliated with Harmony Baptist Church. She was very active with Alorica charity organizations, loved spending time with her grandchildren, reading, playing board games, video games, watching Disney movies and old cartoons. Johnson enjoyed doing anything with her father like fishing, hunting, camping and hiking. She especially loved spending time with her family, praising the Lord and making people smile every where she went.
Survivors include her parents, James and Christine Mae (Tingle) Smith of Lane; children, Amanda Smith and husband, Michael, of Durant; Kevin Smith and wife, Jennifer, of Allen, Texas; Mark Johnson and wife, Kristen, of Allen, Texas; Brian Johnson and Alexandria Johnson, both of Lane; grandchildren, Aiden Porta, Presley Gettle, Hope Porta, Benjamin Gettle, Aerys Smith, Zephyr Johnson and Roxanne Johnson; sister, Vina Gardere and husband, Kevin, of Halton, Texas; brother, Bradley Smith of Howe, Texas; along with numerous loved nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.
Preceding her in death were her paternal grandparents, Carlton and Ora Smith; maternal grandparents, Anna Mae and Elmer Tingle; and sister-in-law, Jennifer Rubin Smith.
Pallbearers were Kevin Smith, Mark Johnson, Brian Johnson, Anthony Alexander, Gino Alexander and Michael Gettle.
Honorary pallbearers were Keith “Sep” Alexander, Rico Alexander, Victor Alexander, Reggie Alexander, Nathan Smith and Jonathan Smith.
