Plants and trees are looking dead all at once. Does not take long with a few nights of below freezing temperatures.
Schools across the county are all back working, lets hope the kids and teachers will all be well until Christmas break.
The kids miss school as much as the parents miss sending the kids off to school. We just need normal. I had my third office doctor visit on the phone on Monday, it took an hour. The doctor or I neither like it and are looking forward to next year when we can see each other in person.
Our sympathy to the family of Hoss White, he passed away last Saturday, November 28, 2020. Services were Wednesday, December 2 at Brown’s.
Lots of Christmas lights are going up in north Lane and they are pretty. I saw Edna Sheffield out hanging lights on her house Sunday afternoon, but Edna we need to see you get a ladder, that box did not look too safe.
Debbie Brasfield had back surgery on Monday and is home and doing better, but still in some pain. Keep her in your prayers.
We had singing on Sunday night at church and a meal afterwards, so good to fellowship together. I miss being with people and I miss hugs.
Atoka boys and girls played basketball at Atoka, on Friday night against Holdenville. The girls lost but the boys won. They were both good games. The girls only lost by three points. They will have another home game this Friday, December 11, 2020. We wore our masks through the whole game. Come join us this week. Games start at 6:30 p.m.
