Atoka Police Sergeant Jimmy Taylor arrived at the Carl Albert Office, located on Court Street, due to a report of an intoxicated person on Thursday, December 10, 2020.
Sergeant Taylor spoke to an employee who stated they believed the subject, Raymond Hopkins, 43, of Atoka, to be under the influence of drugs.
Hopkins was sitting in a chair; Sergeant Taylor observed he was unable to control his body movements.
He began to rock back and forth with uncontrollable facial movements and talking loudly to himself.
Hopkins told the Sergeant he had used “Ice” the day before.
He was placed under arrest for public intoxication and transported to the Atoka County Jail for booking.
Hopkins is charged with public intoxication (misdemeanor).
