Wednesday, December 9, 2020, Atoka Police Officer Taylor Wood arrived at a residence on North Gary Street to investigate a report of a woman standing in the middle of the road.
Officer Wood made contact with the suspect, identified as Hailey Dawn Larson, 22, of Atoka.
Larson had dilated pupils and was not responding to light as the Officer asked what she was doing in the road. She had the odor of alcohol on her person.
“I got irritated and went for a walk,” she stated.
Officer Wood questioned Larson who admitted to using drugs “a day or two ago.”
The Officer spoke to the owner of the residence who stated Larson asked for a phone and charger before walking out into the road to begin starring at his home.
Larson was placed under arrest for public intoxication. She was transported to the Atoka County Jail for booking.
She is charged with public intoxication (misdemeanor).
