Friday, December 4, 2020, Atoka Police Officer Cody Poe was advised about a domestic disturbance that had occurred in the Walmart parking lot.
Officer Poe made contact with a female standing near a blue Crown Victoria.
The woman told the officer she wanted her property from the vehicle, and there had been an argument, but it had not been physical.
Officer Poe asked her to remain at the scene while he drove to Pizza Hut to locate the male subject involved in the argument.
The suspect, identified as Demarcus Allen Williams, 34, of Claremore, was found in the parking lot of Pizza Hut talking to himself, and was unsteady on his feet.
The Officer asked Williams what had happened. He responded, “They are out to get me.” When asked who “they” were, Williams pointed to a vacant lot.
He was placed under arrest for public intoxication. A bag containing a white crystal-like substance which field tested positive for methamphetamine, weighing two grams, was found on his person.
Williams was transported to the Atoka County Jail and booked for public intoxication, possession of a controlled dangerous substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He is charged with possession of controlled dangerous substance (misdemeanor), and public intoxication (misdemeanor).
