Funeral services for Charles Lee Johnson, age 91 years, 10 months and 4 days, a Stringtown resident, were held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 17, 2021, at the Atoka Funeral Home Chapel, in Atoka, with Pastor Jon Daniels officiating.
Interment was in Butler Cemetery, at Lane.
Services were under the direction of Atoka Funeral Home, in Atoka.
Johnson passed away on Saturday, March 13, 2021, in Atoka.
He was born on May 9, 1929, to Charles Lester and Era Agnes (Cantrell) Johnson, at Atoka.
Johnson was a forklift driver and worked at the United States Army Ammunition Plant.
He married Anna Jo (Isenberg), on December 29, 2015, at Atoka.
Johnson proudly served his country in the United States Army.
Survivors include his wife, Anna Jo Johnson of the home, in Stringtown; son, Charles David Johnson of Atoka; daughter, Beverly Kay Harris of Stringtown; grandchildren, Kyle Robert Harris of Denison, Texas; Jenna Lee Bowen and husband, Justin, of Tushka; Connor John Harris of Stringtown; great-grandchild, Lincoln David Harris of Coalgate; brothers, James Dale Johnson and wife, Jeannie, of Stringtown; Dewight Joe Johnson and wife, Ann, of Everett, Washington; sister-in-law, Denvel Johnson of Caney; also several nieces, nephews and a host of dear friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Charles Lester Johnson & Era Agnes (Cantrell) Johnson; first wife and mother of his children, Fannie Johnson; second wife of many years, Della Mae Johnson; brother, Clifford (Chip) Johnson; sisters, Geneva Golden and Naomi Watson; son-in-law, Johnny Harris; and daughter-in-law, Annette Johnson.
Pallbearers were Jerry Johnson, Stephen Johnson, Anthony Johnson, Kyle Harris, Connor Harris, Justin Bowen and Vince Beck.
