Graveside services for Charles Ray Thompson, age 39, a longtime Lane resident, were held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 26, 2021, at Butler Cemetery, in Lane, with Brother Raymond Humphrey officiating.
Interment was in Butler Cemetery, at Lane.
Services were under the direction of Brown’s Funeral Service, in Atoka.
Thompson passed away on Saturday, March 20, 2021, in Lane.
He was born on Friday, July 17, 1981, to Carl Dale and Jeanette Kathleen (Miller) Thompson, at Oklahoma City.
Thompson attended Lane Public School.
He married Khyishia (Dandridge) on Sunday, April 26, 2009, at Atoka.
Thompson was a logger for the Thompson Family Logging Company.
He was of the Pentecostal faith. Thompson loved doing anything with wood, being outdoors and spending time with his children.
Survivors include his wife, Khyishia Thompson of the home, in Boswell; sons, Ray Edward Thompson, Charles Carl Thompson, Jr., Mack Dylan Thompson and Ford Tuff Thompson; daughter, Victoria Rose Thompson; mother, Jeanette Kathleen (Miller) Thompson of Lane; sister, Kim Thompson and children, Quantrail and Brooklyn of Oklahoma City; brother, Dale Thompson and wife, Amber, and children, Waylan and Cheyanne of Lane; sister, Carla Thompson and Jeff Williams and daughter, Sophie Williams of Lane; brother, Dobe Thompson and sons, Parker and Forest of Lane; brother, Dude Thompson of Lane; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many dear friends.
Preceding him in death were his father, Carl Dale Thompson; uncle, Jack Wayne Thompson; grandmother, Lillie Thompson; niece, Sharrie Jane Thompson and nephew, Jackie Wayne Thompson.
Pallbearers were Rodney Burleson, Roy McAusland, Jonathan Goodson, Shane Page, Mark Rains, Ray Thompson, Charles Thompson and Mack Thompson.
Honorary pallbearers were Dale Thompson, Raymond Miller, Waylon Thompson and Bubba Hawkins.
Family night was held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., on Thursday, March 25, 2021, at Brown’s Funeral Service, in Atoka.
