A celebration of life for Donald Joe Titsworth, age 73, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 26, 2021, at the First Baptist Church, in Bennington, with Brother Jay Perry officiating.
Interment will be in the Jackson Cemetery, at Bennington.
Services are under the direction of Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home, in Durant.
Titsworth passed away on Friday, March 19, 2021.
He was born on May 11, 1947, to William Harce Titsworth and Myrtle Velma (McIntire) Titsworth, at Bennington.
Titsworth was employed by Bryan County District #3 for 17 years.
He married Delorse McFatridge, on July 20, 1990, at Hugo.
Titsworth was a member of the First Baptist Church, in Bennington. He loved a quiet day of fishing, being in the woods coon hunting, or a pickup ride on the back roads.
Survivors include his wife, Delores Titsworth of the home; children, Robin Titsworth of Bonham, Texas; Marsha Titsworth of Sherman, Texas; Bruce Titsworth of Bonham, Texas; Benny Titsworth of Grant; Susie Titsworth of Soper; stepson, Bradley Freeman of Atoka; ten grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Ruth Reynolds and Foye Curtis, both of Bennington; Joy Nichols of Ravenna, Texas; and brother, Wayne Titsworth of Bonham, Texas; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents, William Harce and Myrtle Velma (McIntire) Titsworth; and siblings, William David Titsworth, Billy Ray Titsworth, Larry Titsworth, Darell Titsworth, Johnny D. Titsworth, Quinn Titsworth, Jr., Elba Knight and Kay Blain.
Pallbearers are Billy McFatridge, Freddy McFatridge, Brent McFatridge, Danny McFatridge, Clemmie Trent, Michael Mathews, Taylor Scott, Ed Rose, Mitch Andrews and Blake Delgado.
Honorary pallbearers are Gabriel Trent, Hunter Mathews and Clay Delgado.
Family night will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., on Thursday, March 25, 2021, at the Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home, in Durant.
