Funeral services for Doyle Franklin Lansdale, Jr., age 67, a resident of Breckenridge, Missouri, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 24, 2021, at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel, in Atoka.
Interment will be in Mount Olive Cemetery, at Stringtown.
Arrangements are under the direction of Pitts Funeral Home, in Breckenridge, Missouri.
Lansdale passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2021, at Hedrick Medical Center, in Chillicothe, Missouri.
He was born on August 31, 1953, to Doyle Franklin Lansdale, Sr., and Betty Jean (Bond) Lansdale, in Oklahoma.
Lansdale was a 1972 graduate of Raytown South High School.
He married Judy Whitten, on December 30, 1992.
Lansdale worked on the assembly line for Ford Motor Company for many years.
He loved music.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Lansdale of the home; one son, Jacob Lansdale of California; four daughters, Deanna Harper and husband, Jeremy, of Lathrop, Missouri; Jennifer Cheney and husband, Mike, of Holt, Missouri; Meagann Abernathy of Kansas City, Missouri; Amanda Whitten and significant other, Kacey Farr, of Breckenridge, Missouri; twenty-three grandchildren; one brother, Douglas Eugene Lansdale and wife, Trisha, of Independence, Missouri; one sister, Brenda Austin and husband, Cliff, of Raytown, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Doyle Franklin Lansdale, Sr., and Betty Jean (Bond) Lansdale.
A scheduled visitation will be held at the Pitts Funeral Home, in Breckenridge, Missouri, on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. A scheduled visitation will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2021, from noon until service time at Brown’s Funeral Service, in Atoka.
