Scroggins passed away on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, in Denison, Texas.
He was born on Saturday, April 11, 1953, to Earnest Melvin and Flora Mae (Patton) Scroggins, at Plainview, Texas.
Scroggins graduated high school in Plainview, Texas.
He married Mary Ann Fortenberry.
Scroggins was a farmer.
He proudly served his country in the United States Army.
Scroggins loved fishing, hunting, sitting on the front porch, visiting with family, friends and especially his grandchildren.
Survivors include his children, Perry Scroggins and wife, Ermelinda, of Atoka; Ericka Asiatico and husband, Thomas, of Plainview, Texas; and Odie Milligan of Plainview, Texas; grandchildren, Amberly and Alexander Asiatico, both of Plainview, Texas; Ernest Reyna of Slaton, Texas; Diana Galvan of Plainview, Texas; Rebecca Reyna of Whiteface, Texas; Adrian Reyna, III of Atoka; Brenda Knocke and husband, Mark, of Durant; Dawn Reyna and partner, Jeremy Crooms, of Atoka; Ermelinda Rose Ochoa of Tulsa; Billie Jo Ochoa and partner, Brandon Wilson, of Atoka; Perry Scroggins, Jr. and Benjamin Scroggins, both of Atoka; Anthony Milligan of Fort Hood, Texas; Bryce Milligan of Plainview, Texas; Angel Reyna of Atoka; grandson-in-law, Hosé Angel Moran of Atoka; sister, Lola Strickland and husband, Loyd, of Levelland, Texas; 25 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and caretaker, Dustin Hendrix of Atoka.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Earnest and Flora Mae (Patton) Scroggins; wife, Mary Ann (Fortenberry) Scroggins; daughter, Vickie Milligan; grandchild, Jaydan Milligan; great-grandchildren, Samuel Max Zinn and Carol Lee Funk.
