Funeral services for Lisa Fern (Cicio) Lewis, age 53, a lifetime resident of Lehigh, were held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 20, 2021, at Verdigris First Baptist Church, in Verdigris, with Pastors Roger Plemmons and Jim Lewis officiating.
Interment was in Green Meadows Cemetery, at Atoka.
Lewis passed away on Saturday, February 13, 2021.
She was born on January 23, 1968, to John and Nona Fern (Crist) Cicio, at Atoka.
Lewis graduated from Coalgate High School, in May 1986 and attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University and Northeastern Oklahoma State University for two years after high school. Lewis attended Rogers State College, in Claremore, where she received her associates degree in Paramedicine.
She married Cecil Lewis, Jr., in July, 1986, at Hillcrest Baptist Church. Brother Dennis Garner and Brother John Howard officiated the ceremony.
Survivors include her husband, Cecil R. Lewis, Jr. of the home; son, Cameron Lewis and wife, Tiffany, of Verdigris; daughter, Cathryn Leigh Lewis of the home; granddogs, Thor, Rosie and Riley of Verdigris; brothers, Robert Cooper of Locust Grove; Martin and Sue Cicio of Coalgate; brother-in-love, Jim Bob Lewis and wife, Amanda, of Atoka; Robert and Brenda Rackley of Newalla; sisters, Deloris and Don Hedgecock of Coalgate; Johnna and David Rosenthal of Van Alstyne, Texas; sisters-in-love, Letha Guinn of Coalgate; Helen Cooper of Wagoner; parents-in-love Cecil R. and Joyce Lewis of Atoka; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and very close friends, near and far.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Nona Fern (Crist) Cicio and John Cicio; grandparents, Alma and AW Renfro, CG and Lottie Crist, and Martin and Sophia Cicio Kozak; brother, Robert Cooper; sister-in-law, Marjorie Cooper; niece, Melissa Cooper; as well as several cousins, aunts, uncles and friends, too numerous to mention.
Pallbearers were Matthew Rackley, Ethan Lewis, Chris Layton, Aaron Lewis, Zachary Lewis and Mike Bendabout.
Honorary pallbearers were Larry Houghland, Robert Rackley, Martin Cicio, Matt Ricks, Damian Rosenthaul, Don Hedgcock, David Rosenthaul and Roger Cooper.
