Graveside services for Patricia Waynell (Eastep) Cole, age 63, a longtime Stringtown resident, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at Mt. Olive Cemetery, in Stringtown, with Brother Bartt Bradford officiating.
Interment will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery, at Stringtown.
Services are under the direction of Brown’s Funeral Service, in Atoka.
Cole passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 2021, in Atoka.
She was born on Friday, January 24, 1958, to Donnie and Faye (Robinson) Eastep, at Amarillo, Texas.
Cole graduated from Stringtown Public School and received a bachelor’s degree from Ashford University.
She married Arty Cole on Tuesday, January 14, 1992, at Atoka. They celebrated 29 wonderful years of marriage in January.
Cole was an early childhood education teacher for INCA.
She was a member of the Stringtown Baptist Church. Cole loved teaching three years at INCA, collecting tea pots and spending time with her family at home and at the lake.
Survivors include her husband, Arty Cole of Stringtown; children, Colby Cole of Stringtown; Angelina Marsh and husband, Jerry, of Durant; Kara Durkee and husband, Jeremy, of Waynoka; Natasha West and husband, Chris, of Denison, Texas; Susan Heartline and husband, Michael, of Denison, Texas; Clair Bradford of Waynoka; father, Donnie Eastep of Atoka; sisters, Jo Burleson of Edmond and Dawnett Eastep of Atoka; brother, Ed Eastep and wife, Pam, of Atoka; ten grandchildren; along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
Preceding her in death were her mother, Faye (Robinson) Eastep; grandparents, Eastep and Robinson; aunts, uncles and cousins.
Pallbearers are Mike Eastep, Jason Eastep, Kolby Steudeman and Jordan Burleson.
Honorary pallbearers are Ricky Wright, Albert Cole and Michael Wright.
Family night was held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., on Tuesday, March 30, 2021, at Brown’s Funeral Service, in Atoka.
