Supt. Walters Congratulates Oklahoma Students on National Merit Recognition

State Superintendent of Public Instruction Ryan Walters congratulates the Oklahoma students who have been recognized as National Merit Scholars, celebrating their dedication, hard work, and academic excellence.

The National Merit Scholarship Program recognizes the top students across the country based on their exceptional academic achievement, PSAT/NMSQT performance, and commitment to success. Oklahoma’s honorees this year exemplify the strength of the state’s schools, teachers, and families who support them.

“These students represent the very best of Oklahoma,” said Superintendent Walters. “Their commitment to learning and their pursuit of excellence make us all proud. They are not only leaders in the classroom, but also future leaders for our state and nation.”
