A man was arrested on Tuesday morning after allegedly entering an Atoka home without permission, just a day after being officially trespassed from the property.
At approximately 8:40 a.m. on September 9, Atoka Police were dispatched to a residence on North Kentucky Avenue for an 'unwanted guest' call. The reporting party told Officer Zachary Rice that Kodi Nichols was inside her home without permission. Just the day before, on September 8, an officer had formally trespassed Nichols from the property.
Officer Zachary Rice and Captain Randall Slawson located Nichols, who was on a bicycle, and ordered him to return. Instead, Nichols fled the area. Officers pursued Nichols, eventually locating him at the intersection of East A Street and North Main Street.
