An Atoka County man was arrested after a 911 call reported a woman had been run over by a vehicle following a domestic dispute.
On Friday, September 5, Atoka County Sheriff's Office Captain Austin Golden was dispatched to a residence on East Tomlinson Road. The victim stated a man had gotten into her vehicle while she was unloading it, ran over her, and fled the scene.
First responders arriving at the scene reported a male, later identified as Danny Smith, was acting aggressively and holding a shiny object, believed to be a firearm, while telling them no one was injured, and they needed to leave.
