The Class B #3 Caney Lady Cougars are expected to host an Oklahoma Secondary Schools Activities Association (OSSAA) Regional Tournament Thursday, Oct. 2 - Friday, Oct. 3. At press-time, the OSSAA had not released Class B regional tournament brackets. Eight Class B regional tournaments will be conducted with the winner of each tournament advancing to the state tournament scheduled for Oct. 9-11.
Caney won a Class B District Tournament against Milburn at home over the course of two days due to rain. On Sept. 23, Caney defeated Milburn 14-0 in three innings and the Lady Cougars claimed the district championship with a 13-0 win over Milburn in three innings on Sept. 24.
