A traffic stop for speeding on Saturday evening, October 18, 2025, led to the arrest of a Houston, Texas woman with an active ICE case.
At approximately 9:07 PM, Atoka Police Patrolman Grady Blackwood observed a gray Toyota Tacoma traveling 70 MPH in a posted 55 MPH zone near the intersection of S Mississippi Ave and Ruth Ave.
The vehicle was occupied by two women and a child. The driver, who identified herself as Rocio Esmaralda Lemus of Houston, Texas, was unable to provide a driver's license or proof of insurance. A check with dispatch confirmed Lemus did not possess a valid driver's license from any state or country.
