Update on Bibles in the Classroom and Pending Lawsuits

A recent court order seeks the filing of a status update by October 28, following what the court described as “significant turnover among public officers originally named as respondents.”

When a public officer is a party to legal action in their official capacity but ceases to hold that office, the action passes to their successor. As part of this update, all replacements must be named to ensure the record accurately reflects current officeholders.
