A multi-jurisdictional high-speed chase that began in Bryan County on Saturday afternoon concluded in Atoka, with the driver, Josiah Hemby, 29, now facing potential charges including Driving Under the Influence (DUI).
The incident began when Hemby was reportedly driving recklessly at speeds over 100 miles per hour on Highway 69. A Tushka Police Officer attempted a traffic stop in Caddo after observing Hemby speeding, but Hemby refused to yield.
According to Atoka County Sheriff Kody Simpson, the pursuit, involving multiple law enforcement agencies, continued north through Caddo, Tushka, and into Atoka County, with speeds eclipsing 100 mph.
