Single-Vehicle Crash Leads to DUI and Drug Charges

A single-vehicle collision on State Highway 43E led to the arrest of the driver on suspicion of Driving Under the Influence (DUI) of both alcohol and drugs, as well as possession of a controlled substance.

The incident occurred on November 1, 2025, at approximately 7:40 PM, at the intersection of Mulberry Street and State Highway 43E. Officer Branson, Stringtown Police Department, initially responded to the scene and requested assistance after suspecting the driver was impaired. Officer Colley arrived on scene to assist.

The driver, identified as Jacob Repp, was the only occupant of the red 2008 Chevrolet Silverado pickup involved in the crash. Officers noted a strong, combined odor of alcohol and marijuana emitting from his person and breath.
