The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma announced that Vet Sentrel Colbert, age 43, of Atoka, Oklahoma, entered a guilty plea to one count of Felon in Possession of a Firearm punishable by up to 15 years’ imprisonment and a $250,000 fine.
The Indictment charged Colbert with knowingly possessing a 9mm Luger caliber, semi-automatic pistol on August 3, 2024, after having been previously convicted of a crime punishable by more than one year imprisonment.
The charge arose from an investigation by the Bureau LPXLP of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Choctaw Nation Lighthorse Police.
