No License Plate Leads to DWI Arrest

A late-night traffic stop for an obscured license plate led to the arrest of an Ada man on charges of driving while impaired and driving with a suspended license.

On November 15, 2025, at approximately 9:20 P.M., Atoka Police Officer Humphrey observed a white Mazda CX-9 near E 13th Street and Haskell with no visible license plate and initiated a traffic stop.

The driver, identified as Brandon Scott, was unable to provide a valid driver's license, only an Oklahoma identification card. A check through Atoka County Dispatch confirmed that Scott's license was suspended.
