As I write this report, I would like to wish everyone a safe and Happy Thanksgiving, spent making priceless memories with your loved ones.
I have been in discussions with Braum’s the last few weeks, and as most of you have probably noticed, they have started tearing down the old houses, etc. on the lot they purchased. I can’t wait to see their finished product and the whole new look it will give that area of our city. I’ve wanted a Braum’s in Atoka my entire life and was afraid I’d never get to see it. God willing, it will become a reality in 2026.
ODOT’s traffic signal realignment and upgrade project through town is almost complete. They are going to have to redo a minor portion of concrete, but according to the ODOT supervisor it shouldn’t impact traffic.
