Hello Atoka! Here it is, the inevitable coming of the end of 2025! Thanksgiving has passed and now Christmas is knocking on our door. Looking back on the events of the past eleven months it is amazing to note all the events that have made a change in our [mine] lives.
It is my hope that each of us can reflect on these events and be thankful for all that we now have and enjoy. I know that there are some events which have come to pass that may cause sadness, we have suffered loss, there may be heartache, but in the end we are still here and need to make the best of what we still have and give thanks for what we do have and share with others.
This brings me to the purpose of this communique with you. If you are not aware, the Atoka Veteran's Association has its monthly breakfast on the third Saturday of each month to raise funds to assist our local veterans in need of services that need immediate addressing.
