As I write this report, I would like to wish everyone a safe and Merry Christmas, spent making priceless memories with your loved ones.
On December 2, 2025, DEQ conducted a scheduled walk-through inspection of our water plant. Two representatives from Wall Engineering were on hand as well to go over the improvements from our USDA grant that will address many of our issues. We haven’t received the results of the inspection yet, but overall, it seemed to go well. As always, with DEQ’s ever-changing mandates, I’m sure there will be some new requirements that we will have to address.
On December 3, 2025, Vice Mayor Diane McGee, Police Chief/Assistant City Manager Gene Dodson, and I attended the Choctaw check presentation at the Choctaw Community Center. We are so thankful to the Choctaw Nation for all of their support.
