January 1st: New Year's Day, Apple Gifting Day, Ellis Island Day, and Polar Bear Plunge Day January 2nd: National Science Fiction Day, National Buffet Day, and World Introvert Day January 3rd: National Drinking Straw Day, National Chocolate Covered Cherry Day, Festival of Sleep Day, and J.R.R. Tolkien Day (author of The Lord of the Rings) Because of the Christmas Holidays, there were no basketball games in Stringtown last week. They'll have a game next week though. Stay tuned!
