A Texas woman was arrested on the afternoon of December 19, 2025, after being clocked traveling more than 20 mph over the speed limit on U.S. Highway 69.
Atoka Police Officer Trevin Loudermilk clocked a white Ford vehicle traveling northbound at 77 mph in a 55 mph zone. During the traffic stop that followed, near Ameristate Bank, the officer detected the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.
The driver, identified as Jada McLarty, provided a Texas identification card and admitted that her driver’s license had expired in 2022. Dispatchers confirmed the status of her license shortly thereafter.
