An Atoka woman was arrested in the early hours of Saturday, December 20, 2025, after a traffic stop for driving without headlights led to an admission of intoxication.
At approximately 2:04 AM, Atoka Police Officer Cheyenne Gilbert observed a white Hyundai Santa Fe traveling southbound on Highway 69 without its headlights or taillights illuminated. The officer initiated a traffic stop, and the vehicle pulled into the Dollar General parking lot.
Upon approaching the vehicle, Officer Gilbert identified the driver as Chelsey Pittman. The officer immediately observed two open Keystone beers in the center console cupholders and an open 18-pack of the same beverage behind the driver’s seat.
