A multi-agency response led to the swift capture of an inmate who walked away from the Mack Alford Correctional Center on Sunday morning.
The incident began at approximately 9:30 A.M. on December 24, 2025, when facility officials notified dispatch that inmate Jeffery Paul had left the grounds on foot.
The 56-year-old male was last spotted heading southbound toward the Choctaw Travel Plaza wearing a gray jacket over his orange correctional uniform.
