Playoff basketball has arrived as the Oklahoma Secondary Schools Activities Association basketball playoffs are set to begin on Thursday, Feb. 11.
Class 2A-4A playoff assignments were announced on Feb. 7 and their postseason will begin either Feb. 19 or Feb. 20. Atoka will travel to Anadarko for the Class 3A Area II District 5 championship on Feb. 20. With a win, the Wampus Cats will play on Tuesday, Feb. 24 at 6 and 7:30 p.m. at Davis in the regional tournament.
With a loss, the Wampus Cats will play in the first round of regionals on Thursday, Feb. 26 at Davis at 6 and 7:30 p.m. Atoka will play either Dickson or Davis in the first round of regionals. The second and final round of regionals will be conducted at Tishomingo on Feb. 27 and 28.
