Community support is coming together in Coalgate to help a neighbor in need. On Saturday, Feb. 28, the Coalgate Masonic Lodge will sponsor a benefit to support Diane Downard’s medical treatment journey.
The event will be held at the Choctaw Community Center, located at 103 E. California Ave. in Coalgate, with activities beginning at 11:00 AM. For a $10.00 donation, attendees can enjoy a BBQ sandwich lunch that includes chips, water, and dessert.
In addition to the meal, the benefit will feature both a silent auction and a pie auction. Organizers are currently seeking donations for the auctions, as well as dessert items for the lunch.
