Eden Eaves, a junior thrower from Atoka High School earned a strong finish at the first Oklahoma Cross Country & Track Coaches Association (OCCTCA) Indoor State Track Meet Championships.
She qualified two weeks earlier at a meet held at the University of Oklahoma, securing a spot in the shot-put finals on Saturday, Feb. 21.
Competing in Division III — which combines athletes from Classes A, 2A, and 3A. With four attempts, each throw improved on the previous one, all four being better than her qualifying throws.
