Local students Ava Perry and Jett Luman showcased their creativity at the cosplay costume contest held at the Choctaw Convention Center in Durant on Saturday, Feb. 21. Ava Perry, a 12-year-old student at Stringtown Elementary, took home first place for her portrayal of the character 'Mangle.' Jett Luman, 12, who attends Atoka Elementary, earned second place for his 'Foxy' costume.
