An investigation by the Atoka County Sheriff’s Office has led to a felony charge of First Degree Forgery against Julie Renfro following allegations that she fraudulently transferred land back into her name.
The investigation began on January 7, 2026, when Emily Brumley and Dallin Renfro reported that their grandmother, Julie Renfro, had forged their signatures on a warranty deed. The property in question involves 17 acres of land that the siblings were in the process of selling to local buyers.
According to the probable cause affidavit filed by Deputy Jimmy Taylor, the 17 acres had been legally transferred from Renfro to her grandchildren in 2022.
