Congratulations go out to our Stringtown Lady Tigers as they advanced to the state tournament last week, a feat which had not been accomplished in 50 years.

The Lady Tigers played a hardfought battle on the hard court and didn't give up as they narrowly fell to our neighbors down the road the Kiowa Cowgirls.

While the 1976 Stringtown Tigerettes will be known as the last girls basketball team from Stringtown that made a state appearance at the Big House. The Big House as it has been called was torn down last year in 2025.
