Ada Resident Pleads Guilty to Federal Assault Charges

The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma announced that Isaiah Marshall Harjo, age 28, of Ada, Oklahoma, entered a guilty plea to one count of Assault Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury in Indian Country, punishable by up to ten years in prison and a $250,000 fine, and one count of Assault with a Dangerous Weapon with Intent to Do Bodily Harm in Indian Country, punishable by up to ten years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

The Indictment alleged that on September 25, 2025, Harjo assaulted the victim, resulting in serious bodily injury. The Indictment further alleged that on that same day, Harjo assaulted a second victim with a dangerous weapon, intending to do bodily harm.

The crimes occurred in Pontotoc County, within the boundaries of the Chickasaw Nation Reservation, in the Eastern District of Oklahoma.
