Our Public Works Department has completed most of the much-needed updating of our firing range, making many improvements out there for our police department to have an excellent place to shoot and train for their yearly qualifications.
They also put down new flooring at the police department, transforming the entire look of that area.
On Tuesday, March 3rd, I attended an Economic Impact Summit, hosted by the Choctaw Nation, at the Choctaw Cultural Center in Calera. Chief Batton gave us all a well detailed overview of the Nation’s economic accomplishments for the 2023 calendar year. It makes you realize just how many lives are affected in a positive way by the many projects and programs provided by the Choctaw Nation!
