Looking for an exercise that improves strength, balance, and helps reduce stress? The Atoka County Library is offering Tai Chi classes for ages 18 and up.
With instructor Kara Broome, classes will be offered every week at 2:00 PM on Mondays and Thursdays starting April 20th and will go through May 28th. Participants are encouraged to call ahead and sign up.
Tai Chi is a form of exercise that combines gentle stretching and low-impact movements with deep breathing and relaxation. It can help improve balance, flexibility, and coordination, and reduce stress and anxiety.
