A structure fire caused significant damage to a home on Voca Road early Sunday morning, March 29th. Firefighters from the Caney, Caddo, and Tushka departments responded to the scene and were able to contain the blaze to the original room and the attic. The homeowner was transported to the hospital by Atoka County EMS following the incident. Neighbors were credited with waking the individual inside the house and assisting with the evacuation before emergency crews arrived.
