A man facing multiple outstanding warrants was taken into custody Saturday morning, March 28, following a brief foot pursuit near the West 13th Street overpass.
Officer Russell O’Neal of the Atoka Police Department was patrolling westbound at approximately 9:35 a.m. when he spotted Patrick Laflore walking along the south shoulder of the highway.
According to a police affidavit, O’Neal was aware that Laflore had several active warrants through the City of Atoka for failure to appear.
