Economic Director’s Report

Everything is going well; we are continuing to work on various projects, always searching for new opportunities and leaving no stone unturned as we strive to improve our city in every way possible.

I’m still working alongside SODA staff to try and qualify for an EDA grant to construct a new water tower on the south side of our city to improve water capacity and pressure in that area and to meet future growth demands.

I’m researching a couple of other grant opportunities that would have very positive impacts on our community if received. Qualifications are often difficult, but you won’t receive anything if you don’t try; so, we will continue to pursue them diligently.
