During 8th Annual Helicopter Egg Drop

Dozens of local children gathered at the Atoka County Medical Center on Tuesday, March 31, for the facility’s eighth annual Egg Drop, a community tradition that continues to reach new heights.

Families lined the grounds in anticipation as a helicopter, stationed at the nearby airport for quick refills, made multiple passes over the designated hunting zone. With each flyover, eggs tumbled from the sky, signaling the start of the scramble for the excited crowd below.
