The Stringtown community and the regional racing circuit are mourning the loss of 18-year-old Bailee Rennae Deems, who passed away Sunday following a traffic collision on Highway 69.

To the racing world, she was the driver #414 in the Pro 3 Quad class, a passion she shared with her mother, Jessica White.

To her classmates at Stringtown High School, she was a 'brilliant mind' and a storyteller in the making. An aspiring journalist, Bailee was currently studying the craft in school and planned to pursue a journalism degree in college.
