Caney FCCLA Members Shine at State Convention

Thousands of Oklahoma FCCLA members descended upon Tulsa, Oklahoma on Thursday, April 2nd for the 80th annual State Convention, the largest one-day FCCLA event in the state. Filled with inspiring speakers, electrifying competition results, and enriching workshops, the convention provided a platform for members to celebrate achievements, hone their skills, and connect with fellow FCCLA enthusiasts.

'The State Convention is a highlight of the year for Oklahoma FCCLA,' said Clinta Smith, Caney FCCLA Adviser. 'It's a chance to celebrate the dedication and accomplishments of our members, witness the future leaders of FCCLA in action, and create lasting memories.' The jam-packed day offered a variety of activities for attendees, including:

• Inspiring keynote addresses: FCCLA members were captivated by speeches from Mr. Patrick Grady. Through his humorous and interactive presentations, Patrick assists participants in identifying the positives associated with our careers, he teaches attendees how to get out of paradigms that hold back creative thinking and develop new patterns of thinking that support innovation and new ideas.
