On April 24th, I attended the bi-monthly SODA meeting at Murray State College in Tishomingo. It was a lengthy meeting with a lot of various discussions. Afterwards, I discussed various grant opportunities with key personnel that we will be pursuing this year.
On May 1st, The Atoka Splash Pad will open for the season. I can’t wait to see all of the smiles and hear the sounds of happiness again this year from many fun filled days.
On May 1st, the Assistant City Manager will meet with a group of potential investors that are interested in the City of Atoka to possibly invest in a small to medium-sized industrial operation. I have had several preliminary discussions with the lady leading the group and she is excited to finally come here for a visit.
